Make a Payment

Deposits for Fall 2020 are currently being accepted.

Students enrolled in any of the Ontario Programs offered at our Vaughan site can make a payment online using our secured payment form (see above) or wired transfer.  If you prefer, you can mail a cheque or money order in Canadian funds to the address below. Please note that we cannot accept postdated cheques. On the cheque or money order, please reference in what program you are enrolled along with your student ID.

Students enrolled in any of our post-baccalaureate or graduate programs offered at our Vaughan site, make 4 monthly payments throughout the semester.  

  • A payment is due every month on the 10th of each month, or the next business day thereafter.
  • Billing e-mails are sent around the 20th - 27th of each month for the next month's payment.
  • As your tuition will be paid in installments, you will receive an annual payment schedule for your program of study
  • Late payments of 2% will be applied on any unpaid balance.
  • In addition to the tuition and any program specific fees, all students are required to pay a registration fee of $25.00 for each semester they attend classes.
  • Beginning in Spring 2021 a $25 payment plan fee will be charged each semester.  In addition, beginning in Spring 2021 credit cards will have a 2.8% processing fee.  Please note that this fee is not charged by, or paid to Niagara University.

Each semester

  • the first bill will come by both mail and e-mail.
  • An e-mail will also be sent to your myNU e-mail account each month detailing the amount that is due and when it needs to be paid.
  • Be sure to check your myNU email regularly.

To pay your bill, you will need your seven digit student number

  • All payments must have a decimal and cents
  • Remember that you are required to make a payment each month

To view your statement online

  • log into WebAdvisor as a student, click on Current Account Statement, and you will be able to view all activity on your account.

Fall 2019 cohort first – fourth semesters

First Semester - 15 credit hours @$520 per credit hour $7,800 + $25 reg. fee = $7,825 - $500 deposit = $7,325 divided into 4 monthly payments per semester = $1,831.25 per month
Second Semester - 15 credit hours @$520 per credit hour $7,800 + $25 reg. fee = $7,825 divided by four monthly payments per semester = $1,956.25 per month
Third Semester - 15 credit hours @$520 per credit hour $7,800 + $25 reg. fee = $7,825 divided by four monthly payments per semester = $1,956.25 per month
Fourth Semester - 15 credit hours @$520 per credit hour $7,800 + $25 reg. fee = $7825 divided by four monthly payments per semester = $1,956.25 per month

First Semester - 15 credit hours @$535 per credit hour $8,025 + $25 reg. fee = $8,050 - $500 deposit = $7,550 divided into 4 monthly payments per semester = $1,887.50 per month
Second Semester - 15 credit hours @$535 per credit hour $8,025 + $25 reg. fee = $8050 divided by four monthly payments per semester = $2012.50 hour per month
Third Semester - 15 credit hours @$535 per credit hour $8,025 + $25 reg. fee + payment fee = $8075 divided by four monthly payments per semester = $2018.75* hour per month
Fourth Semester - 15 credit hours @$535 per credit hour $8,025 + $25 reg. fee + payment fee = $8075 divided by four monthly payments per semester = $2018.75* hour per month

Withdrawal

If I drop a class, or withdraw from the program, how much will I owe?

Course withdrawal is adjusted based on the last day of attendance of the class. Complete withdrawal is adjusted based on the last day you attended classes. The  table below shows the percent of the charges that will be refunded from the last day of attendance within that week.

When a student registers, it is understood that he or she will pay in full all charges assumed at registration. Failure to attend classes does not alter the charges or entitle the student to a tuition refund. Students will not be permitted to receive grades, transcripts, or diploma unless the student account is paid in full.
