Withdrawal and refund policies at Niagara University in Ontario.

Refunds

  • Please note that the $500 deposit is non-refundable.
  • Refund policy is distinct from the tuition requirement policy
  • Students seeking a 100% refund of their paid tuition must request in writing and complete and submit the required withdrawal forms before the end of the second week of classes. (Exact deadline date to be advertised by NUO a minimum 90 days prior to the start of the semester).
  • Please note that after the second week of classes the eligible refund % will decrease accordingly. Please refer to the table below.

Withdrawing from an accelerated class that runs less than 84 days (1 to 11 weeks)

Niagara University in Ontario (NUO) has no control over any decisions made by IRCC or the processing times from IRCC. Therefore, the applicant accepts full responsibility on whether their immigration application with IRCC could be denied. Applicants are responsible and must be in full compliance with all rules and conditions from IRCC.

Refund policy and procedures

Individuals that have been admitted and granted a study permit must follow Niagara University’s policy and procedures regarding Withdrawal and Refunds. Awareness of all NUO deadlines are the responsibility of the applicants and students. In case an accepted student wishes NUO to consider a deferral, the NUO reserves the right to modify any terms and conditions of the new LOA. The student has the right to refuse to accept the new LOA and is eligible to receive a refund in accordance with the refund policy noted above.
